Clintondale stands alone among Macomb County football teams
Thirty-three schools from Macomb County have 11-player football teams.
Only one had a perfect regular season.
Clintondale went 9-0 while winning the Macomb Area Conference Bronze Division championship.
It was the Dragons' first 9-0 regular season since 2000.
That year, Clintondale finished 11-1 and won the MAC Silver and a district championship.
The playoff-bound Dragons capped their perfect 2012 season with a victory over South Lake.
Clintondale also defeated Lamphere, Lincoln, Center Line, Lakeview, Clawson, East Detroit, Mount Clemens and New Haven.
Clintondale did not qualify for the playoffs in 2011.
