Football coaches honor academic leaders

The following Macomb County schools were named to the Academic All-State team as announced by the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association:
DIVISION 1
Chippewa Valley, Cousino De La Salle, Eisenhower, Utica
DIVISION 3
Lake Shore

Individuals named Academic All-State:
SECOND TEAM
Jacob Barshaw, Ford
Pedro Espinoza, Utica
HONORABLE MENTION
Kenny Dalen (pictured), Parkway Christian
Bradley Kaschalk, Warren-Mott
Kevin Kulchycki, Cousino
Alex Lettner, Lake Shore
