Len Perkins is raring to go.
The long-time Anchor Bay coach is recovering from the triple-bypass heart surgery he had in November.
Perkins took in a Tars basketball game last week and said he plans to coach the Anchor Bay softball team in 2012.
"I'm feeling good," he said.
Anchor Bay is the defending Macomb Area Conference Red Division champion.
