Mike Giannone of Dakota has been named head coach of the East for the annual high school All-Star football game that will be played at Kelly-Shorts Stadium at Central Michigan University on June 30.
Jerry Rabideau of Spring Lake will be head coach of the West.
The appointments of Giannone and Rabideau were made by the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association, which sponsors the All-Star game.
Giannone has been the Dakota coach since 1998. The Cougars won Division 1 state championships in 2006 and 2007.
