A pair of defending state-champion wrestling teams will square off against one another to help raise funds for Scott Norton, a former Richmond and Romeo wrestler who has a brain tumor. Richmond, the defending Division 3 champion, and Hudson, which won the Division 4 title in 2011, meet at 6 p.m. Dec. 27 at Richmond in the Blue Devils’ annual Alumni Night match. Proceeds from the non-league match go to help Norton with medical expenses. Also, Chaps Food & Spirits restaurant in Richmond will hold a fundraiser starting at 3 p.m. the day of the match.
