Two MAC teams remain in football playoffs
Eisenhower and Marine City are the remaining Macomb Area Conference schools alive in the state football playoffs, which move to the semifinal round.
Marine City, the Gold Division champion, improved to 12-0 with a regional-round victory over Detroit Crockett. The Mariners won that game 15-7.
Eisenhower, the Red champion, is 11-1 after defeating Walled Lake Central 38-21 in a regional game.
The Eagles' lone loss came against Port Huron, which bowed out of the playoffs with a regional double-overtime loss to Walled Lake Western.
