L'Anse Creuse grad stars in college track

WAYNE, IND. - Indiana Tech sophomore Shayla France, a L’Anse Creuse grad,
helped lead the Warriors to their first national title at the 2013 NAIA Outdoor
Track and Field National Championships held in Marion, Indiana on May 23-25.
France ran a leg of the winning 400 meter relay team, which smashed the school record in the process. She also earned All-American status in three other events finishing second in the 100 hurdles, sixth in the 100 dash, and fourth in the 200 dash.
The sophomore was one of eight individual/relay champions for the Warriors at the meet as well as one of 31 Indiana Tech athletes to earn All-American accolades.
