Eisenhower plays Detroit Cass Tech at 1 p.m. Nov. 19 at Troy Athens in a Division 1 state semifinal football game. If the Eagles win, coach Bob Lantzy's team will advance to a state final for the fifth time in program history, all since 1999.
Cass Tech defeated De La Salle to earn the right to play Eisenhower. The Eagles beat Walled Lake Central in a regional championship game, following playoff triumphs over Dakota and Romeo.
Eisenhower is the only Macomb County team still in the playoffs.
